Policy for Sourcing Wood, and Wood Fiber for All Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Certified Products
Our company is committed to making best efforts to identify the sources of wood used for products labeled with FSC Trademark.
Our company avoids the use of woods that have been illegally harvested, wood harvested in violation of traditional and civil right, wood harvested in forest where high conservation values are threatened by management activities, wood harvested in forests being converted to plantations or non-forest use, and wood from forests in which genetically modified trees are planted.
Our company has authorized Mr. Lin Kai Hsuan, the Executive Director will be responsible for implementing this policy and regulating our Chain-of-Custody system to comply with the FSC requirements.
Our company will conduct an evaluation and verification of our suppliers during the process of buying raw materials to comply with the FSC's standards. If it is demonstrated that a company is supplying wood from such sources, we will promptly take appropriate actions, including stopping purchases from such sources.
Our company will keep all relevant records/documents and publish reports, which will describe our system for verifying and monitoring our sources, the proportions of raw materials which have not yet been verified, and the steps being taken to replace materials of unknown origin to materials that can be sourced with confidence.
